Purpose : To Evaluate the efficacy of wavefront-guided retreatment with wavefront system for patients with decreased visual acuity and subjective disturbances in quality of vision after conventional laser vision correction Methods : Retrospective analysis was used to evaluate wavefront guided enhancement in a preliminary set of 37 eyes from 22 patients. All eyes had previously underwent LASIK .
Result : One-month post-operative , 95% of patients achived a UCVA of 20/40 or better and 83% achieved UCVA of 20/25 or better .Subjective visual quality complaints were eliminated in 80% of eyes treated.
Conclusion: Wavefront enhancement of primary LASIK appear in early follow up to be a safe and effective treatment of residual refractive error. |
