Report of 4 years Managing Experiences of refractive Center

Purpose:
Discuss common
problems and about issues that related with the LASIK centers management
and offer personal practical experiences for reference to make the LASIK
surgeons gain win/win situation.
Method:
Satisfaction
investigation sheets are distributed for 600 patients who underwent
LASIK surgery for past 4 years in different 4 LASIK centers (including
general hospital and private clinics) in order to discover
consumer-based demands.. On doctor’s side, satisfactions Investigation
of LASIK centers management is also evaluated in 10 surgeons.
Result and Conclusion:
The business model
of management for LASIK centers is different from the traditional
governmental reimbursement insurance system. Financial analysis, Human
Resource and Risk monitor system are discussed. Marketing issues,
operation management as well as legal issues and co management problems
are also evaluated in order to offer surgeons to implement an
appropriate, cost-effective compliance program for long term successful
development of the refractive institutes.
